The crash of Flight 422 did more than take Hank Kennedy’s life. His loved ones are thrown into chaos as his wife, Isobel, and his best friend, Grant, struggle to put the pieces back together of their lives in Memphis. Grant fights his own demons as Isobel questions her faith and traverses the grief that complicates her lifelong illness. They are drawn into an uneasy alliance during the far-reaching investigation where the secrets they uncover may be dangerous to them both.
Isobel must decide if she will allow her newfound knowledge, her struggle with her faith, and her medical challenges to consume her, or if she has the internal strength to overcome the pain of her past and create a new life for herself.

Renee D Webb has found a new passion in writing women’s fiction, recently completing her first book, Rhapsody in Blues City. Her novels are set in her hometown of Memphis, where she still resides, and touch on her personal battle with chronic illness.
She started life as a musician, naturally leading to a career as a Certified Public Accountant. Despite rumors to the contrary, she is living proof that bean counters have creative minds and colorful personalities.
Renee lives with her husband, daughter, two cats, and a dog. She prefers her barbecue wet and her iced tea sweet.
